When the Director of the Oregon Department of Administrative Services determines that an office building as defined in ORS 276.110 would be the best means to further the public policy of this state as declared in ORS 276.426, or otherwise to accomplish the purposes of ORS 276.005 (1), the Oregon Department of Administrative Services may request the State Treasurer and investing agency, as defined in ORS 276.110, to loan funds to acquire the buildings necessary to carry out that policy. Note: 276.013, 276.015 and 276.021 were made a part of ORS chapter 276 by legislative action but were not added to any smaller series therein. See Preface to Oregon Revised Statutes for further explanation.
