(1) Any general regulation of the district board shall be adopted in accordance with ORS 198.510 to 198.600. (2) Orders not establishing a general regulation need not be published or posted, unless otherwise provided by this chapter, but shall be entered in the minutes, and the entry shall be signed by the secretary of the board. An ordinary order shall take effect upon the entry in the minutes. (3) Violation of a regulation enacted under ORS 266.410 (7) is a misdemeanor punishable upon conviction by a fine not to exceed $100 or imprisonment not to exceed five days, or both.
