As used in ORS 238.500 to 238.585, unless the context requires otherwise: (1) Court means the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeals, the Oregon Tax Court and a circuit court. (2) Judge means a judge of any court. (3) Judge member means a judge who is a member of the Public Employees Retirement System subject to ORS 238.500 to 238.585. (4) Service as a judge means creditable service, as defined by ORS 238.005, by a judge as: (a) A regularly elected or appointed judge of a court; or (b) A regularly elected or appointed judge of a court temporarily in another court.
