(1) As used in this section: (a) Noncitizen means an individual who is not a citizen or national of the United States. (b) State agency means any state officer, board, commission, department, division, institution, branch or agency of the state government. (2) A state agency shall use the term noncitizen to reference an individual who is not a citizen or national of the United States when promulgating a rule or regulation that references an individual who is not a citizen or national of the United States. Note: 183.338 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 183 or any series therein by legislative action.
