(1) A person commits the crime of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle if the person enters a motor vehicle, or any part of a motor vehicle, with the intent to commit a crime. (2) Unlawful entry into a motor vehicle is a Class A misdemeanor. (3) As used in this section, enters includes, but is not limited to, inserting: (a) Any part of the body; or (b) Any object connected with the body. Note: 164.272 was enacted into law by the Legislative Assembly but was not added to or made a part of ORS chapter 164 or any series therein by legislative action.
