Oregon Public Safety Fund

The Oregon Public Safety Fund is established in the State Treasury, separate and distinct from the General Fund. All moneys in the fund are continuously appropriated to the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 137.830 (9)(d) and 137.835.

137.838. The Oregon Public Safety Fund is established in the State Treasury, separate and distinct from the General Fund. All moneys in the fund are continuously appropriated to the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of ORS 137.835.
Note: Section 7, chapter 557, Oregon Laws 2025, provides:
Sec. 7. Any funds appropriated to the Oregon Criminal Justice Commission for the supplemental grant program described in section 5, chapter 98, Oregon Laws 2018 [repealed], that are remaining on July 1, 2026, shall be deposited in the Oregon Public Safety Fund established under section 4 of this 2025 Act [137.838].
