Title 82. Waters And Water Rights: Application of act - Accreditation of administrators

The provisions of the Oklahoma Floodplain Management Act shall
not apply to those counties, municipalities or other agencies which
are in compliance with federal floodplain regulations as of the date
of this act and were participating in the program prior to May 13,
1980.  Beginning November 1, 2005, persons designated to administer
the floodplain requirements of the counties, municipalities or other
agencies exempt from the Oklahoma Floodplain Management Act pursuant
to this section shall be accredited by the Oklahoma Water Resources
Board in the same manner as the Board accredits floodplain
administrators.
