Commission to Bureau of Investigation. A. Effective July 1, 1980, the Statistical Analysis Division of the present Oklahoma Crime Commission shall be transferred to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. All unexpended funds, property, records, personnel and any outstanding financial obligations or encumbrances of the Crime Commission which relate to the Statistical Analysis Division are hereby transferred to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. B. Effective July 1, 1988, the personnel transferred from the Oklahoma Crime Commission to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation and persons occupying the position of any such personnel on July 1, 1988, shall become subject to the provisions of the Merit System of Personnel Administration. All incumbent employees subject to this subsection shall be classified without regard to status or examinations. Such employees shall be granted status in the class of positions to which the employee's position is allocated by the Office of Personnel Management. C. It is the intent of the Legislature that the mission of the Statistical Analysis Division not be changed by this transfer, and that the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation continue prior cooperative agreements made with the Criminal Justice Agencies of the state.
