– Successor to Oklahoma Department of Vocational and Technical Education. A. There is hereby created the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, which shall consist of such divisions, units and positions as may be established by the State Board of Career and Technology Education. The department shall be under the control of the State Board of Career and Technology Education, which shall formulate policies and adopt rules for the administration and operation of the department. B. The official name of the state agency which is known as "State Department of Vocational and Technical Education" or the “Oklahoma Department of Vocational and Technical Education” shall be designated in all future references as the "Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education". Any references in the statutes to the State Department of Vocational and Technical Education or the Oklahoma Department of Vocational and Technical Education shall be deemed references to the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education.
