A. Sections 1 through 3 of this act shall be known and may be cited as the "Health Education Act". B. The purpose of this act is to: 1. Ensure students receive instruction in health, particularly at an early age when habits are formed; 2. Support the health and well-being of children that have been affected by traumatic experiences; 3. Improve academic outcomes for students; and 4. Improve the overall health outcomes of Oklahoma's population. C. The State Board of Education may promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this act.
