Title 69. Roads, Bridges, And Ferries: Use of bridges by public utilities or service corporations

Boards of county commissioners in their respective counties
shall have the supervision over bridges and the approaches thereto
constructed upon county highways within their respective counties
which have been erected by the voting of bonds by the county and may
permit any public utility or public service corporation to cross any
such bridges and the approaches thereto or jointly use any such
bridge and the approaches thereto with the public for an adequate
consideration, and upon such terms and conditions as may be
satisfactory to it in agreement with any such public utility or
public service corporation, and no public utility or public service
corporation shall have the right to use or cross any bridge or the
approaches thereto, located over any stream in Oklahoma, when such
bridge or approaches thereto has been erected by the voting of bonds
by the county for that purpose, unless the board of county
commissioners shall, by resolution, determine that in its judgment
the bridge and approaches thereto may be safely so used and without
any substantial detriment to the public interest.
