Title 69. Roads, Bridges, And Ferries: Sale of unneeded property

In the event that circumstances alter the highway requirements
after the Director has acquired property so that it or a portion
thereof is no longer needed for highway purposes, the Director is
authorized to sell the real property involved or any portion thereof
in the name of the state on the relation of the Director, and shall
make deposit of the proceeds of such sale in the Highway Advance
Right-of-Way Acquisition and Management Fund.  Provided, if any
funds have been contributed by municipal or county governments for
the purchase of such property, such funds shall be returned to said
municipal or county government together with any interest which such
contributions have actually earned.
