Title 68. Revenue And Taxation: Recovery of fees and costs by Tax Commission

The Tax Commission shall be entitled to recover from the
taxpayer named in the warrant any fees or costs charged to the Tax
Commission by the county clerk for the filing of any tax lien or tax
warrant against the taxpayer.  The Tax Commission shall also be
entitled to recover or offset the filing fees or costs previously
paid to the county clerk for the filing of a tax lien or tax warrant
upon the withdrawal of a tax warrant or lien by the Tax Commission,
or upon the filing of a release issued by the Tax Commission for no
consideration after a determination by the Tax Commission that the
lien or warrant is clouding the title of property by reason of an
error in the description of such property or by reason of similarity
of names.
