Oklahoma Code § 65-42

Title 65. Public Libraries: Authorization to receive any available assistance

The State Librarian and Archivist is authorized to apply for and
receive and to take full advantage of any and all assistance,
research, information, surveys, investigations, grants, allotments
or allocations of funds which may be available to the State of
Oklahoma, or The Oklahoma State Library, for library purposes, and
library services of any type, or related or allied purposes and
services, under the laws and regulations of the United States, any
state, and any organization, or any agency, instrumentality or
subdivision of these entities; and to cooperate or undertake joint
activities or programs with the United States, any other state, and

any organization, or any agency, instrumentality or subdivision of
these entities, or with any agency, instrumentality or subdivision
of this state, pertaining to library purposes, library services of
any type, or related or allied purposes and services; and to prepare
and submit any plans, specifications, reports or applications, to
execute any agreements, to employ, fix the duties and compensation
of personnel, and to administer and direct any programs, plans or
projects in connection with any of the foregoing.
