Title 64. Public Lands: Prospectors liable for damages to surface

Any person, firm or corporation, receiving a prospecting permit
or lease under the provisions of this act, and prospecting,
exploring or operating for minerals, shall be liable to the surface
owner or surface lessee for all damages or loss accruing to the
surface interest in said land and to all crops and improvements
thereupon and appurtenances and hereditaments thereunto belonging.
