The Uniform Determination of Death Act shall be applied and construed to effectuate its general purpose to make uniform the law with respect to the subject of this act among states enacting it. This act does not concern itself with living wills, death with dignity, euthanasia, rules on death certificates, maintaining life support beyond brain death in cases of pregnant women or of organ donors, and protection for the dead body.
