and duties. The State Board of Health shall direct the State Commissioner of Health to employ, appoint or otherwise designate a Director for the Office of Child Abuse Prevention. The Director shall: 1. Assure that the annual report is prepared as required by Section 1-227.2 of this title; 2. Formulate and recommend rules and regulations pertaining to the implementation of the provisions of the Child Abuse Prevention Act for approval or rejection by the Board; and 3. As authorized, act as agent for the Board in the performance of its duties pertaining to the implementation of the provisions of the Child Abuse Prevention Act.
