Oklahoma Code § 62-478

Title 62. Public Finance: Registration or payment of excess warrants - Misdemeanor

Any treasurer, excluding a school district treasurer, who shall
register or pay a warrant, or certificate of indebtedness, issued in
excess of the estimate made and approved by the excise board for the
current fiscal year, or in excess of a bond issue for such purpose,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction, shall be
punished by a fine of not less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00)
or by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding one (1) year, or
by both such fine and imprisonment.
