Title 62. Public Finance: Notice of issue - Determination of indebtedness

Notice of the issuance of bonds provided for in this act, shall
be given by publication in a newspaper published at the county seat,
or, if no newspaper is published at the county seat, then such
publication shall be made in the official newspaper of such county,

and by posting a copy of the same in five public places in the
municipality, stating that on the day named therein the municipality
will proceed before the county court of the county, if the amount be
less than One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00), or before the district
court, if the amount exceed One Thousand Dollars ($1000.00), to make
a showing and ask the court to hear and determine the amount of the
outstanding legal indebtedness of said municipality, and to sign the
bonds to be issued in payment of the same; and any person interested
may remonstrate against the issuance of the same.  Such notice shall
be given for at least ten (10) days before the day named for said
hearing.
