A.  No annual renewal certificate shall be issued to a
pharmacist until such pharmacist has submitted proof to the State
Board of Pharmacy that the pharmacist has satisfactorily completed
no less than fifteen (15) clock hours of an accredited or Board-
approved program of continuing professional education during the
previous calendar year.
B.  The Board may grant alternate methods of obtaining
continuing education hours to a pharmacist who meets all necessary
requirements for licensure except the continuing education
requirements.
C.  1.  Any pharmacist who does not meet the requirements for
continuing education may obtain an inactive renewal certificate of
licensure.
2.  The holder of an inactive renewal certificate of licensure
shall not engage in the practice of pharmacy in this state.
3.  The holder of an inactive renewal certificate of licensure
may apply to the Board to be removed from inactive status.
