Every applicant for any type of license or permit issued by the Board of Dentistry shall be subject to a national criminal background check. The Board may deny a license or permit for any applicant who fails to disclose a criminal history or a disqualifying violation of the law pursuant to Section 328.32 of this title, Medicaid fraud, or a violation of federal or state controlled dangerous substances laws.
