As used in the Fire Extinguisher Licensing Act: 1. "Committee" means the Fire Extinguisher Industry Committee; 2. "Fire extinguisher industry" means the sale, installation, maintenance, inspection, certification, alteration, repair, replacement, or service of portable fire extinguishers or fire suppression systems or any combination of the foregoing activities; 3. "Fire suppression systems" and "handheld portable fire extinguisher" means any listed or approved fire extinguisher systems installed in compliance with the installation manuals of the manufacturer or the applicable National Fire Protection Association Standard and its reference as outlined in the rules established by the State Department of Health; 4. "Licensee" means any person licensed pursuant to the Fire Extinguisher Licensing Act; and 5. "Person" means a sole proprietorship, fire partnership, association, corporation, or other similar entity.
