Title 59. Professions And Occupations: Bail enforcement training schools

A.  On and after the effective date of this act, private schools
desiring to conduct any or all phases of bail enforcement training
shall submit an application for a certificate of approval to the
Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training.  The application
shall be accompanied by a fee of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00).
The certificate shall be renewed annually by July 1.  The renewal
fee shall be Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00).  If the school does
not qualify for a certificate or renewal certificate, the Council
shall retain twenty percent (20%) of the fee as a processing fee and
refund the balance to the school.  The processing fee shall be
credited and deposited in the CLEET Bail Enforcement Revolving Fund
created pursuant to Section 21 of this act.
B.  A listing of qualified and certified bail enforcement
training schools shall be available from the Council.  Any certified
school may conduct continuing education courses on subjects approved
by the Council.
