A. To be eligible for appointment as a Pardon and Parole Board member, a person shall possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and have at least five (5) years of experience in one or more of the following fields: 1. Criminal justice; 2. Parole; 3. Probation; 4. Corrections; 5. Criminal law; 6. Law enforcement; 7. Mental health services; 8. Substance abuse services; or 9. Social work. B. At least two members of the Pardon and Parole Board shall have five (5) years of training or experience in mental health services, substance abuse services or social work.
