Oklahoma Code § 56-167

Title 56. Poor Persons: Investigation of applications

The Department shall promptly investigate all applications for
assistance, and shall determine whether the applicant is eligible
for assistance under the provisions of this act, the amount of
assistance, if any, and the date such assistance shall begin.  The
applicant shall be notified in writing of the decision.
