Title 51. Officers: Court of impeachment - Organization

When articles of impeachment shall be presented to the Senate,
the Senate shall within ten (10) days thereafter organize as a court
of impeachment, and may for the purpose of conducting the business
of such court, appoint a clerk, who may be the secretary of the
Senate. The clerk shall issue all process and keep a record of the
proceedings of such court.  The said court shall also appoint a
marshal and an assistant marshal who shall be its executive
officers. It may employ such stenographic, clerical and other help
as may be required.
