Title 51. Officers: Impeachment defined

An impeachment is the prosecution, by the House of
Representatives, before the Senate, of the Governor or other
elective state officer, under the Constitution, for willful neglect
of duty, corruption in office, drunkenness, incompetency, or any
offense involving moral turpitude committed while in office.
