A. Any person whose driving privilege shall have been suspended under any provision of this chapter, or whose policy of insurance, when required under this chapter, shall have been canceled or terminated, shall immediately return his or her driver license to the Department of Public Safety. If any person shall fail to return to the Department the driver license as provided herein, the Department shall forthwith direct any peace officer to secure possession thereof and to return the same to the Department in the same manner as prescribed in Section 7-605 of this title. B. Any person willfully failing to return his or her driver license as required in subsection A of this section shall be punished as provided in Section 17-101 of this title.
