The brake system on any motorcycle shall comply with performance ability standard set forth in 49 C.F.R., Section 571.121, and shall be adequate to control the movement of the motorcycle and to stop and hold the motorcycle, including two separate means of applying the brakes. One means shall be effective to apply the brakes to the front wheel, and one means shall be effective to apply the brakes to the rear wheel or wheels. Added by Laws 1961, p. 405, § 12-304.
