Title 45. Mines And Mining: Neglect or failure to perform requirements - Penalty

The neglect, failure or refusal to perform or comply with the
authorized requirement of said Mining Inspector, acting under the
provisions of this act, by any firm, association, corporation,
person or parties required to perform them, shall be a misdemeanor,
and where the duty so neglected, failed or refused to be performed
is required of a corporation, then its officer or agent in charge of
the mine, shall be guilty, as hereinbefore provided for in this
section, and shall upon conviction thereof be punished by a fine of
not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) provided, that as to

duties imposed by the Mining Inspector taken before the said
district court for review, this section shall not apply except as
to, from and after the order finally promulgated by order of said
district court and provided further this section shall not apply to
an operator who has ceased mining operations and the working of men
except such as are necessary to dewater and preserve the mine
involved.
