Title 43A. Mental Health: County Community Safety Investment Fund

A.  There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving
fund for the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse
Services to be designated the “County Community Safety Investment
Fund”.  The fund shall be a continuing fund, not subject to fiscal
year limitations, and shall consist of all monies appropriated to
the fund under Section 633 of this title.
B.  All monies accruing to the credit of the fund shall be
budgeted and expended by the Department of Mental Health and
Substance Abuse Services for the sole purpose of providing funds to
counties for development and implementation of the programs listed
in Section 4 of this act.
C.  Expenditures from the fund shall be made upon warrants
issued by the State Treasurer against claims filed as prescribed by
law with the Director of the Office of Management and Enterprise
Services for approval and payment.

NOTE:  Section 5 of this Initiative read:  "The provisions of this
initiative shall not become effective if the Oklahoma Smart Justice
Reform Act is not approved by the people of this State."  State
