Oklahoma Code § 40-141.7

Title 40. Labor: Bureau of boiler inspection - Establishment - Personnel

- Powers and duties.
There is hereby established a bureau of boiler inspection in the
Department of Labor under the direction of the chief boiler
inspector, who shall have at the time of appointment a valid
commission issued in accordance with the constitution and bylaws of
the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors and
shall be responsible to the Commissioner of Labor or his duly
authorized representative for the supervision, inspection and
testing of boilers and pressure vessels throughout the state.
B.  The bureau of boiler inspection shall be furnished with
sufficient personnel, deputy inspectors and clerical aides to
perform the assigned duties with the limits prescribed by the
Commissioner of Labor.
C.  Powers.  The chief boiler inspector and deputy inspectors,
under the supervision of the Commissioner of Labor, shall:
1.  Take action necessary for the enforcement of this act and
these rules and regulations;
2.  Keep a complete record of the name and address of the owner
or user, location, type, dimensions, maximum allowable working
pressure, age, dates of installation and last-recorded inspection of
all boilers and pressure vessels to which this act applies;
3.  Make available upon request copies of the rules and
regulations promulgated by the Department;
4.  Issue, suspend or revoke for cause, certificates of
operation as provided for in Section 14 of this act; and
5.  Cause the prosecution of violators of the provisions of this
act, rules and regulations.
