Title 36. Insurance: Certificate of authority required

A.  No person unless authorized pursuant to the provisions of
Section 4 or Section 10 of this act shall establish or operate a
prepaid dental plan organization in this state, or sell or offer to
sell, or solicit offers to purchase, or receive advance or periodic
consideration, in conjunction with a prepaid dental plan without
obtaining and maintaining a certificate of authority issued pursuant
to Section 4 of this act.
B.  On or before February 1, 1984, every prepaid dental plan
organization operating in this state shall submit an application for
a certificate of authority to the Commissioner.  Each applicant may
continue to operate as an organization until the Commissioner acts
upon the application.
