Title 36. Insurance: Relationship of optometrist and patient

Nothing in this article shall be deemed to alter the
relationship of optometrist and patient.  No such corporation shall
in any way influence the subscriber in his free choice of
optometrist, other than to limit its benefit to participating
optometrists.  Nothing in this article shall be deemed to abridge
the right of any optometrist to decline patients in accordance with
the standards and practices of such optometrist, and no such
corporation shall be deemed to be engaged in the corporate practice
of optometry.
