Title 36. Insurance: Membership; voting; membership fees

A.  Corporations organized under this article shall be mutual
corporations and every person who holds a policy or contract with
the corporation shall be a member of the corporation and shall be
entitled to one or more votes based upon the number of policies or
contracts held, and such members may vote in person or by proxy.
B.  Mutual corporations organized in accordance with the
provisions of this article shall be entitled to charge and collect
initial membership fees or policy fees, or both such fees, in
addition to premiums.
