Title 29. Game And Fish: City and town wildlife commissions - Powers

A. Any city council or board of town trustees in any city or
incorporated town owning and operating a lake may establish a
Wildlife Conservation Commission of three or more members, to be
appointed by the city mayor or the board's president.
B.  All such appointed commissioners shall serve for a period
coterminous with that mayor's or president's term of office and the
appointment shall terminate at the end of such term of office.
C.  Each commission so appointed, or each city or incorporated
town owning and operating a lake, shall have exclusive control and

jurisdiction of fishing and hunting in said lake, including any
portion that may be on a highway or section line road; provided that
no such commission, city or town shall pass any ordinance or
regulation contrary to the State Wildlife Conservation laws and
regulations adopted by the Commission.
