Title 27A. Environment And Natural Resources: Monitoring of closed facility

After a hazardous waste facility has been closed, its owner or
operator shall properly maintain and monitor the hazardous waste
facility for a period of time required by rules of the Board and
shall make such repairs or improvements as deemed necessary by the
Department to ensure that no migration of hazardous waste material
will occur from the hazardous waste facility.  The rules of the
Board which specify the period of time for maintenance and
monitoring of closed facilities shall be in compliance with the
hazardous waste regulations of the U.S. Environmental Protection
Agency pursuant to the federal Resource Conservation and Recovery
Act.
