Oklahoma Code § 27A-2-3-102

Title 27A. Environment And Natural Resources: Customer assistance program - Additional

The customer assistance program of the Department of
Environmental Quality, in addition to responsibilities specified in
Section 2-3-101 of this title and assigned to the program by the
Executive Director, shall:
1.  Establish and maintain an information and referral system to
assist the public in understanding and complying with state and
local governmental requirements concerning the use of natural
resources and protection of the environment.  The system shall
provide a telephone information service and disseminate printed and
electronic materials;
2.  Standardize permit processes in coordination with the Board
and the Department;
3.  Coordinate and facilitate public information procedures
associated with each permit program;
4.  Provide for the statewide distribution of the telephone
number of the customer assistance program; and
5.  Ensure that all current rules of the Department are readily
available to the public.
