Title 27A. Environment And Natural Resources: Purpose of act

A.  The Legislature hereby declares that it is necessary in the
public interest to prevent pollution through source reduction and
encourage and promote the recycling and reuse or source reduction of
hazardous waste by those manufacturing, service, and processing
industries within the state whose operations produce hazardous waste
and those companies engaged in the disposal of hazardous waste.
B.  It is equally necessary that Oklahoma be made and kept an
attractive location for continued industrial development, including
the expansion of existing plants, thereby increasing employment and
payrolls and upgrading the state's natural resources, both of which
public purposes and objectives will simultaneously be aided and
encouraged by the Recycling, Reuse and Source Reduction Incentive
Act.
