Title 24. Debtor And Creditor: Time of recording - Effect of failure to record within time

An assignment for the benefit of creditors is void against
creditors of the assignor, and against purchasers and encumbrancers
in good faith and for value, if the assignment is not recorded, and
the inventory required by Section 221 filed, pursuant to Section
223, within twenty (20) days after date of assignment.
