Oklahoma Code § 21-1241

Title 21. Crimes And Punishments: Furnishing cigarettes or other tobacco or vapor products

A.  Any person who shall furnish to any person under the age of
twenty-one (21) by gift, sale or otherwise any cigarettes, cigarette

papers, cigars, bidis, snuff, chewing tobacco, or any other form of
tobacco product, nicotine product or vapor product shall be guilty
of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine
in the amount of not less than Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) nor more
than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) and by imprisonment in the county
jail for a term of not less than ten (10) days nor more than ninety
(90) days for each offense.  For the purposes of this section, the
term "vapor product" shall have the same meaning as provided in the
Prevention of Youth Access to Tobacco Act.
B.  The provisions of subsection A of this section shall not
apply to persons performing activities as part of a scientific study
being conducted by a research institution for the purpose of medical
research to further efforts in cigarette and tobacco use prevention
and cessation and tobacco product regulation, provided that such
medical research has been approved by a properly accredited
institutional review board pursuant to applicable federal
regulations.
