A. Subject to the approval of the Commissioner of the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry, the designated nonprofit commodity organization shall conduct the referendum on a statewide basis. B. A producer of the agricultural commodity is eligible to vote in the election and referendum if the producer would be required under the referendum to pay the state assessment.
