The purpose of the Cooperative Marketing Association Act is to promote, foster, and encourage the intelligent handling, processing, and orderly marketing of agricultural products and the organization and incorporation of cooperative marketing associations of agricultural producers. It is the declared policy of this state that the Cooperative Marketing Association Act be liberally construed. Added by Laws 1937, p. 260, § 2. Amended by Laws 2001, c. 38, § 2, eff. Nov. 1, 2001.
