amount of estimate - Tax levy. When directed by a vote of the resident taxpayers at the special election, the county commissioners shall at their first meeting thereafter, notify the county excise board that: 1. The question specified by Section 15-25 of this title has been voted upon and carried; and 2. The estimate as submitted by the board of directors of the free district fair association amounts to a sum, not to exceed the amount voted upon. The excise board shall proceed to levy upon the total valuation of the county a tax sufficient to raise the amount named in the county commissioners' report, not to exceed one (1) mill, for the free district fair purposes.
