Oklahoma Code § 19-904.5

Title 19. Counties And County Officers: Authority to sue and be sued

The board of directors is hereby authorized and empowered to
institute and maintain, or appear and defend, any and all actions
and proceedings, suits at law or in equity, necessary or proper to
fully carry out the provisions of this act, or to enforce, maintain,
protect or preserve any and all rights or privileges conferred
hereby, or acquired in pursuance hereof.  Actions and proceedings
shall be prosecuted and defended in the corporate name of the
authority, and the board is empowered to employ attorneys to
represent the authority in any such actions or proceedings, or to
advise the board in respect of its duties under this act.
