Oklahoma Code § 19-869.1

Title 19. Counties And County Officers: Lake area planning commission - Power to create

For the purpose of cooperating with the State of Oklahoma in
conserving the natural resources of the state and promoting the
health, safety, peace, morals and general welfare of the state, in
any county of the state having within its boundaries all or part of
an upstream terminal port or turnaround where navigation ends, or in

any county containing all or part of a reservoir or reservoirs
constructed by the Bureau of Reclamation, the U.S. Army Corps of
Engineers or the Grand River Dam Authority, there may be created at
the discretion of the board of county commissioners a lake area
planning commission with the powers, authority, functions, duties
and jurisdictional area set out in this act.
