unintelligible survey monument - Replacement - Recordation of
corners.
A.  Any person who knowingly removes, relocates, changes,
obliterates or makes unintelligible a survey monument shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and in addition shall be liable for the cost
of reestablishing and resetting the monument and any actual damages
incurred as a result of such actions.
B.  At such time as it may be necessary to remove, obliterate,
cover or destroy any monument, the county surveyor or any other
qualified land surveyor shall set new monuments from which may be
established the location of the original monument and a new survey
report shall be recorded as provided for original survey reports.
C.  All corners as required by this act that are included within
the definitions of the Corner Perpetuation and Filing Act (65SS3-116
through 65SS3-123) shall be recorded with the Oklahoma Department of
Libraries, State Archives and the county clerk.
