Title 17. Corporation Commission: Penalties

After the effective date of this act, any person who with
wrongful intent acquires an interest in or assists in financing any
firm, corporation or business of the type specified in Section 1, or
who actually uses such influence to benefit such firm, corporation
or business, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon
conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than One
Hundred Dollars ($100.00) nor more than One Thousand Dollars
($1,000.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for a period of
not exceeding one (1) year, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
