Title 11. Cities And Towns: Street improvement districts - Written consent of

A.  Before any property can be included as part of a street
improvement district pursuant to Section 36-202 of Title 11 of the
Oklahoma Statutes or any municipal governing body action pursuant to
Section 36-203 of Title 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes, written consent
shall be obtained by the owners of more than one-half (1/2), in
area, of the land to be included in the street improvement district.
B.  It shall be the responsibility of the petitioners to provide
the municipal clerk with the requisite number of signatures if a
street improvement district is created pursuant to Section 36-202 of
Title 11 of the Oklahoma Statutes.  It shall be the responsibility
of the municipality to provide the municipal clerk with the
requisite number of signatures if a street improvement district is
created pursuant to Section 36-203 of Title 11 of the Oklahoma
Statutes.
C.  The municipal clerk shall certify that the requisite number
of signatures consenting to a street improvement district is
received before approving such district.
