Title 11. Cities And Towns: Costs

When a person is convicted of a violation of any ordinance of
the city, the cost of prosecution shall be taxed against such person

as a part of the penalty and said penalty shall be enforced as
provided in this article. The governing body of the city shall have
the power to specify a schedule of costs, including witness fees, to
be taxed in cases wherein a violation of a city ordinance is
charged.
Costs of the prosecution shall be taxed against a person when
the penalty assessed said person is a deferred sentence in the same
manner as costs are taxed against an individual for a violation of
any other ordinance of the city.
